Today is an epic day. It is the last day that Brett has before he starts his 4th and final year of med school! The last day before the madness of applications, rotations, interviews, tests, and moving. How exciting right? Ok, it won't be that bad. I have actually heard that 4th year is the best and easiest of them all. Heck, we get 3 months of vacation. Of course he will be interviewing for the bulk of it, but at least it is something.
It is hard for me to believe that we are so close to the end. I remember when Brett was getting ready to move to Milwaukee. It was before we were technically "dating". I met him one week before he moved to Wisco. Who would have known how much our lives would change. It is amazing to look back and see the difference. Back then he was just some guy I happened to meet through a friend. Now, he is my husband. We have a dog, two cars, a house, an amazing new group of friends, a thousand new memories, and a future full of millions more. We are so lucky. I mean "seriously so blessed" haha (I had to do it girl!).
Ok, so you know that song "Drop It Like It's Hot"? Well, I do just that. Car keys, shoes, phone, book, sunglasses, and anything else that might have sat in the sun too long. Milwaukee is hot. Literally, it is burning up. I don't mind it though. I would rather have it be blazing outside (like it is) than have to put up with the snow that Wisconsin is capable of. Now, if I could just catch a tan it would be perfect :)
