It was a beautiful day today.  The sun was out and shining so Brett and I took Dex to Virmond Park. It might be my favorite place in all of Wisconsin.  We took the short and steep hike down to the beach front.  The actual park is much higher than the water level.  It drops off abruptly so you can look out over everything.  There is not an official trail that leads down so we usually make our own.  The beach was practically deserted like it always is.

If you look closely you can see Brett and Dex off in the distance.  It is hard to imagine that the city isn't very far from where we are.  Can't wait to spend more time at the park this summer.
